Don't Leave Your Wedding Day Emergency Kit Behind

Some persons may be asking what is that, while others who already know may be thinking this is a must have or it's not really necessary at all. If you're the latter, i must say views on this can be different but Wedding Planners don't take chances and gambles with anyone's wedding, we throughly listen to client's needs, make recommendations, give advice, plan, create backup plans and then execute to make every couple's special day be truly unforgettable. The unforgettable experience shouldn't be that, of having a headache with nothing to stop it or having beverage spill onto your garment with nothing to properly remove it, leaving you with a big ugly mark. Now who wants that in their photos, so Wedding Planners are ultimately problem solvers and they put contingency plans in place to fix and resolve issues if and when they arise.

With that in mind, it is highly recommended that you put together a wedding day emergency kit with items that you think might be needed, based on a number of scenarios that could arise for the couple and by extention the bridal party. Suggested Items that could be apart of your emergency kit are as follows:

• Comb
• Hair brush
• Make-up (for touch ups)
• Mirror
• Perfume
• Tissue/Napkins
• Pain killers
• Smelling salt (for fainting)
• Hand sanitizer
• Lotion
• Oil absorbing blotting sheets
• Band aid
• Feminine products
• Stain removal pen
• Wipes
• Blow dryer (to quickly dry any wet or damp area on your gown after removing any spills)
• Clear nail polish (for stocking runs)
• Scissors
• Latch pins & common pins
• Needles & thread
• Earring backs
• Hair pins
• Lint brush
• Straws (to prevent lip smudges)
• Tooth pick
• Crazy glue (for nail fixes, shoe heels, jewels etc)
• Flats to change into
• Bottle water
• Granola or energy bars
• Mints or other sweets

In addition to these you should also have any prescribed or non prescribed medication you take on standby, even if they are not taken regularly. The Wedding Planner or Coordinator would be the ideal person to keep these items, but in lieu of that place them in a bag and have it safely stashed where it can be easily retrieved if and when needed.

It's always better to be prepared than to end up in a situation where something happened and now you're scrambling to find answers and resolve issues. You've spent months planning your wedding just to make your special day be perfect. So it wouldn't hurt to put together a few inexpensive items, which you possibly already have at home, to help put your mind at ease for your picture perfect day.
